The story of this project starts in 2003, and since its appointment as the Council’s development partner in 2004, Grainger has been committed to delivering much needed investment into the Seven Sisters area. Grainger submitted the first planning application to Haringey Council in February 2008. Planning permission was fully secured in July 2012 and a legal challenge to the permission finally fell away in 2013.

As part of the permission Grainger is required to satisfy a number of planning conditions and obligations. One of these relates to engagement (with market traders as well as the wider public) and diversity monitoring. More information about the work undertaken by Grainger on this topic can be found here.
